Sam tugged his pants down, revealing his boxers. Printed on the boxers were some mistletoe, strategically placed just above his impressive package.
“I have got to keep an eye on your online purchasing,” Roarke said, shaking his head.
She crooked a finger at him. “Come here, Santa. Let me have a kiss.” Sam practically ran towards them, joining them on the rug. Happiness filled her. Her life might have changed from what it once was, but that wasn’t a bad thing at all.
Nope, not bad at all.
Sam tucked Lily in against his chest, rocking her back and forth. She’d woken a few minutes ago and he’d managed to get to her before she’d woken up her mommy or other daddy. He loved these few precious times she woke in the night. Loved to snuggle with her on the rocking chair and have her fall back asleep against his chest.
But right now, he stood before the window and watched as snow flurries dropped to the ground.
He grinned. He had his family back together. Stronger than ever. Sometimes, Christmas wishes really did come true.
